  • Be very strict in the selection and use of the starting pellets; especially the particle size distribution.
  • The solution/suspension must be kept at constant temperature until it is used. Avoid excessive holding times.
  • Do not attempt to coat the pellets using either a bottom or side spray machine that does not have optimized humidity control.
  • In large bottom spray machines each gun must spray the same quantity of solution with the same setting for atomizing air.
  • Curing is a key operating parameters and there is no standard drying temperature or length of drying; each formula is unique.
