6. Feeder speed


  • The Paddle or Powder Assisted Feed Frame
  • With the introduction of high speed presses the Wheel or Power assisted feed frame became mandatory.
  • This feeder does not "force" powder into the die; it helps keep the powder flow up with the tablet press.
  • The speed of the feeder wheels is a critical operating parameter.

7. Turret speed


  • Setpoint with a range.
  • Lowest speed is usually the minimum press speed recommended by the press manufacturer.
