Recirculating Oven vs. Single Pass Dryer
Source : Yenchen Technical Process Consultant, Dr. Fred Rowley
◆ The capacity of the air (gas) stream to absorb and carry away moisture determines the drying rate and establishes the duration of the drying cycle.
◆ In recirculating ovens only a portion of the air is removed and replaced with each passing.
◆ Single pass ovens do not recirculate air and are as a result more efficient.
◆ Drying cycles are usually faster, especially with solvents.
◆ With the right combination of heating temperature and humidity setpoint it is possible to achieve a lower residual solvent level mush faster.
The feature of Yenchen Single Pass Dryer
- Air inlet pass through 3 level of filter (pre-filter, 95% semi HEPA filter & 99.97% HEPA filter) to ensure the quality.
- Air inlet and out controlled with automatic damper.
- Critical parameter
a. Precise temperature control: the operating tolerance for temperature is ±2℃
b. Humidity control: inlet absolute humidity can be control at 9g/m3 ± 1g/m3
c. Air flow within the range of 30~100% can be automatic setting and control within ±5% - Evenly distributed heat: with loading <±5℃
