Bin (also known as Intermediate Bulk Container, IBC) and Bin system are for powder handling applications to store, transfer and mix for close containment. They are very easy to transfer and clean. The volume of IBC is from 20 liters up to 1500 liters, the optional device of Vacuum Suction Device is available to fit with the IBC.

High Shear Mixer

In the cone-shaped vessel, the main impeller mixes the powder into fluidized vortex and forms agglomerates with the binder solution. Then the high speed chopper breaks the agglomerate into granules by a high speed rolling action.

Centrifugal Coater Granulator

The cores (seeds) are placed on the turntable and hot air blows upward from the gap of the turntable and the granulation area. The air flow causes the rolling of the cores; at the same time, the binder solution sprays on the rolling cores via spray gun. The process involves coating and drying of the cores at the same time, and till the repeated actions achieve the desired coating thickness or granule size. If powder sprays at same time, it will form a layer with the binder and results coating/granules on the cores.

Roller Compactor
RC
Dry granulation can provide a simple solution for drugs which are sensitive to water and products with poor flow ability or needed to increase in density. Since the water and solvent are not required during production, therefore, the drying process is not necessary. (Dry binder and lubricant can be added) The powder is pushed downward into pressure screw by screw feeding system which then passes through the gap between two compacting rollers where pressure screw and hydraulic pressure squeeze the powder to form flakes. The flakes are then choppped into smaller sizes by crushing rollers. Lastly by dry granulation process, the amount of uniform size granules are made as required.
